At the last Board of Education meeting we celebrated our 3rd Quarter Best of the Best Winners!
Each quarter, South Brown County Schools looks for the "Best of the Best" to honor! More specifically, one student and one staff member showing innovation, leadership, and overall commitment to education. After gathering nominations, a tough choice is made and we honor those individuals at a USD 430 Board of Education meeting.
For the third quarter of the 2024-2025 school year, we have two very deserving Chargers to celebrate.
First up, Emaleigh Baker. Emaleigh is a Sophomore at HHS. Emaleigh was nomiated because she is always involved. "Emaleigh is incredibly hard working, dedicated to all her activities, kind to every living being she interacts with, and very talented in everything she does. There has never been an instance as her teacher where I couldn't rely on her to get things done and set a prime example for others around her. She is bubbly, caring, nurturing, and brave when she needs to be."
Our staff "Best of the Best" is Mrs. Ashley Doramus. Mrs. Doramus is a Kindergarten teacher at HES. "Mrs. D is a caring teacher and it shows with the kindness her students carry. She is always in a positive mood and never has a frown on her face while in the classroom. She is very dedicated to her job and always makes sure each student has learned to their full potential. She is the best suited for this title because she wants the best for each one of her students. She has the most patience I have ever seen and always makes sure the kids can be themselves. Each kid in her classroom has progressed greatly in their education and continue to learn new skills everyday. Because of her, USD430 is continuing to provide the best education for these students."
South Brown County Schools is proud to honor these "Best of the Best" recipients.
Go Chargers!
