Dear South Brown County USD 430 School Community,

The reason for this letter is to inform the community that USD 430 has seen an uptick in COVID-19 cases since returning from Thanksgiving Break.  Since returning to school the school nurses have reported an increase in testing, positive cases, and quarantines due to close contact with someone that has tested positive.  Below is a breakdown of current cases in USD 430.

USD 430 is monitoring the situation daily and is taking precautionary measures to make sure all students and staff are safe.  We are still cleaning and disinfecting regularly, we practice social distancing whenever possible, and we continue to encourage good hygiene and handwashing.  I would like to encourage you at home to continue to help by staying home when you are sick or not feeling well, social distance whenever possible, and practicing good hygiene and handwashing as well.   Together we can help stop the spread of COVID 19 in South Brown County.

As always, the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families is our top priority. Thank you again for the support, understanding, and dedication you have demonstrated for our students and staff.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact your building principal or me at the Board of Education Office.

Sincerely,

Jason Cline

Superintendent
