July 8, 2022
Dear USD 430 Family and Friends,
Next week during the Brown County Fair you will have an opportunity to help support several nonprofit organizations which all have a special purpose in helping the communities within South Brown County! Grow South Brown Match Day holds an incredible opportunity for our communities. On that day, the South Brown County Community Foundation will match donations made to our fund, USD 430 Activities, and we could potentially receive up to a $1,250 match.
Here’s how it works:
Dates: Tuesday, July 12, 2022 - Friday, July 15, 2022
Time: 4:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Place: Blue Building - Horton
Online gifts made between July 12, 12:00 a.m. – July 15, 11:59 p.m. will qualify for match dollars. Please visit GrowSouthBrown.com to make online gifts.
Individual contributions to agency funds ranging from $25 to $2,000 per organization will receive a local match at $.50 per $1, so a $1,000 gift will receive a $500 local match. If a donor gives a $5,000 gift split evenly between five organizations, each group is eligible to receive a $500 match.
This year matching funds of $34,000 are available to provide the 50% match up to $1,000 per organization until the match funding is depleted.
Gifts can be made by cash, check, or online using a credit card. When donating by check, one check must be made payable to the SBCCF. A separate form will be used to indicate which organizations will benefit and will be available on the Grow South Brown website.
Grow South Brown Match Day is an opportunity to quickly grow our fund, so that we can enrich our programs for even greater impact, for years to come.
The donations that are collected during Match Day for USD 430 Activities Fund will help offset the cost of reconstruction of Charger Stadium. As many of you are aware the track has started to deteriorate and needs to be redone to be safe to use again.
Thank you for your continued support and all that you do in making South Brown County a special place! Enjoy the rest of your summer and I hope to see everyone next week at the Brown County Fair!
Sincerely,
Jason Cline Superintendent USD 430 South Brown County
