
UPDATE ON FINAL SNACK BAGS
I will passing the bags out on Monday only. If you would like to purchase two, I will give the students one on Monday and one on Tuesday. Reminder they are $8.00 a bag and the deadline is December 14.

SNACK BAGS FOR FINALS
Stuco is going to be selling snack bags for finals (Dec. 19-20) which will be full of snacks and water for $8.00. If you would like to purchase one for yourself or someone else please give your money to Mrs. Hayden by December 14. I would like to have an estimate of how many to make ahead of time. They will be passed out on Monday morning.


Our schools will administer the mySAEBRS universal screener through FastBridge December 6-12th. mySAEBRS is taken by students in grades 3-12 and takes approximately 5 minutes to complete.
Per Kansas legislation, in order to complete this screener, we need parental permission. Information was shared at Parent Teacher Conferences in October, you may have given permission then. Horton Elementary had a competition to see which team could collect the most food items to be donated to the Horton Food Pantry. Our 2nd graders won by collecting over 300 items. The total collected schoolwide was 1,011 food items. The 2nd graders delivered the items to the food pantry. Thank you to everyone that contributed! What a huge success for our community!

Horton Elementary 2nd graders learned about the balloons at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City and created some of their own to share with you! Enjoy the parade & Happy Thanksgiving!
