USD #430 South Brown County has embarked on a new journey for the 2022-2023 school year; we have partnered up with the TeamMates Mentoring Program to bring more support and help to our students! The mission of TeamMates is: “To positively impact the world by inspiring students to reach their full potential through mentoring.”
We ask that you to look into what it means to be a mentor for a child, and consider donating something worth more than money- your time! All the time being spent between the mentor and student will be during school hours to promote safety for our students. Even more information can be found as you explore the TeamMates website www.teammates.org, but even better; come see us at our information table at the home football game on September 23rd! Cheer on your Chargers and come talk to us in person!
The more participation we have, the greater this program will grow; the greater the program grows, the more successful our students will be! USD #430 is excited to bring this opportunity of support, growth, and positivity to our district with the help of our own community.
Watch our district website, Facebook page, and the Horton Headlight for more upcoming TeamMates news.
Contact me if you have questions or if you are interested in becoming a mentor!
