HHS Freshman and Sophomores have been doing a Horror week. We discussed when horror stories and movies started. They read a short story and had to write a summary along with their opinion. They did a black out story and also wrote a Spooky Snapshot story where their friends at the table had to add to their story. We have been working on writing sentences and paragraphs with descriptive words. The students had to write a 2-sentence horror story where the first sentence is the setup of the story and the last sentence is to create a twist. The following is a sample of some of the stories the students came up with. -- Mrs. Hayden
