The Horton High School Band performed at the Brown Atchison Electric Cooperative Annual Meeting on February 24th. The played about an hours worth of music and ate a delicious lunch. Thank you for inviting us! Great job band!
The Sub State pairings are out. The girls will play at Wathena-Riverside on Monday, February 28 at 7:00 pm. The boys will play at Jefferson County North on Tuesday, March 1 at 7:00 pm. Come out and support the Chargers!
2nd Graders celebrated TWOSday today, a day after 2/22/22! They had a montage of themselves as 2 year olds, special TWO shirts, activities based on the book “Tuesday”, snacks like twin pops, Double Stuff Oreos, & KOOl-Aid JaMMers, a scavenger hunt, a 2 point shooting contest, a toucan art lesson, a 2 minute & 22 second dance party, games, stickers, & too much more to mention! It was a two-riffic day!

We will have an informational meeting for parents and guardians of all students who will be in 7-12 grade next fall, who are planning to play football. This is an exciting time for Charger FB! This meeting is for parents only, not students, and will be in the HS Auditorium at 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 23.
As we near the end of the HS BB season it is important to remember to practice good sportsmanship towards everyone involved in the athletic contest. KSHSAA Rule 52 details the good behavior that is expected to opponents, officials, coaches and all involved in the contest. Let's be a leader in modeling Good Sportsmanship!
