Congratulations to the HHS Forensics team as they are the Northeast Kansas (NEK) League Champions for the second year in a row. HHS has 5 of the 10 event NEK League champions. In addition, students qualified for State by placing in the top 2 of their events for a total of 11 qualifications.

Next week, the EMS boys basketball team will be participating in the NEKL basketball tournament. First round (Quarter Finals) will be Monday, February 19 at (McLouth). The boys will be taking on St Benedicts at 5:15 in the McLouth Gold Gym. Go Chargers

The students and teachers at EMS recently competed in a school wide bowling tournament (EMS Bowl-A-Rama). The top 2 teams will enjoy a trip to go bowling and have lunch. A huge shout out to all who participated! Winning teams were (Mrs Scherer, Elsie Bryant, Myla Stirton and Attleigh Stirton). (Colton Shirley, Thatcher Strube, Kaison Hawkins and Mr Hutfles) both teams tied with 470 pins. Way to go Chargers!!!

EMS boys basketball plays at home tonight vs Valley Falls at 4:30 B followed by A. Go Chargers!

HHS is hosting its annual Forensics tournament. We are needing judges for this meet. It will start at 4 p.m. on March 21. There will be 2 rounds and finals. I will need 30 people for finals alone. Food and entertainment will be provided. Please consider helping out the team.

EMS boys basketball travels to Oskaloosa tonight for a 4:30 game. B followed by A. Go Chargers

HHS Basketball: (Games on 2-13-24 & 2-16-24) This week the JV Girls Basketball Team will only play 2 Quarters vs. Jackson Heights (Tuesday) & Maur-Hill (Friday). Start times will stay the same; 4:00pm @ Jackson Heights & 4:30pm @ Maur-Hill. This will cause the rest of the Games to start about 30 minutes earlier than normal. Please plan accordingly to the adjusted schedule.
