The Everest Middle School Student Council has designed special bracelets that they will be handing out to the entire student body. These bracelets serve as a reminder that we are stronger together. The student council has been working hard to come up with ways for us to lead by example, promote positivity, and be true "Chargers" in our school community. They believe that by wearing these bracelets, we can show our commitment to these values and inspire others to do the same. I encourage all of you to wear your bracelets proudly and use them as a symbol of unity and support. Let's strive to be the best versions of ourselves and make a positive impact on those around us. Thank you to Charger PTO for funding these bracelets as part of Red Ribbon Week, and let's continue to make Everest Middle School a place where we uplift and empower one another.

On Monday, the EMS Cheerleaders led a fantastic pep assembly, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the entire school. During the assembly, we had the pleasure of introducing our wrestling team and girls' basketball teams. It was a great opportunity for the students to show their support and cheer on their fellow classmates. Following the team introductions, the wrestling team and girls' basketball teams participated in a fun competition to create the "best" mummy. It was a creative and entertaining activity that showcased the teamwork and spirit of our athletes. Additionally, Ms. Stone shared the JOM reading awards for the 1st quarter. These awards recognize students who have read Native American Literature and Nonfiction texts. Congratulations to all the recipients!
