Three senior boys had the opportunity to tour Flint Hills Job Corps in Manhattan, KS! Job Corps offers an on-the-job experience designed to get students workforce-ready. They were able to meet with all "hard hat" instructors and key staff members that play a role into student's success at Job Corps. HHS students were able to see dorm life, wellness/recreational activities, and incentive programs that the campus offers. Students asked many questions to the veteran instructors in their field of interest and left campus with a huge smile on their face saying "thank you so much for taking us - that was awesome!"

Coming to the Charger game Friday night? Come hungry!

December Faculty of the month is Mrs. Hayden
This teacher is a hard worker and does a great job at trying to get students involved with different activities. She always is up for a conversation and won’t turn you down if you need someone to talk to. She is literally the best therapist around. She never turns a project down and does her best to do what the students want to do. She does a lot of hard work and deserves credit for it. She is one of the best teachers I have ever had.

December Student of the Month - Desiree Madere
This student is an absolute sweetheart. Every day she projects kindness, positive vibes, respect and compassion for others even when she herself is having a bad day. I always look forward to seeing her while I’m at work. She is quick witted, has a wonderful smile and a great sense of humor!! She is always involved in an HHS event, giving 100%!! She is a great role model and positive influence to others. She is definitely a leader not a follower.
