Note from Mr. Mills -
Parent/Teacher Conferences - Horton High School
We will be holding Parent/Teacher Conferences at the high school on Wednesday evening, October 19, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 and Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The high school SEL teachers will be emailing progress reports to each of the parents of their SEL students. This progress report will let the parents know how the students are doing in each of their classes, along with comments from the teachers. We ask parents to respond to the email so the teacher will know that each parent received the information.
We will have an open campus and parents are encouraged to come to the high school during the above times to visit with the teachers as they choose. We will not be using a sign-up wizard this year since we are not limiting the number of parents who may be in the building at one time.
Students may attend with their parents for these meetings, but are not required to.

As the first quarter comes to an end, it is time to celebrate those that have shown innovation, leadership & overall commitment to education.
Take a few moments to go to www.usd430.org, click "Best of the Best" and nominate students and staff members for this honor! Due 11/1

We have said it before, and we will shout it again! USD 430 has great supporters!
At the October board meeting, George Bruning, representative of the Everest Christian Church, presented each building principal with $500, to use as needed.
