It is a busy week for the EMS wrestling team. They travel to Oskaloosa tonight for a 4:00pm match. On Thursday, Nov 2, the team participates in a mixer at Perry Lecompton also 4:00pm. Good luck to all participants.

Before heading out of Horton, the Kansas State FFA Horse Judging Championship Team made their way around town!
Through the cold this morning they were cheered along!
The team will begin their competition on Wednesday in Indianapolis.

Monthly assembly at HES!
Ms. Stone shared JOM reading awards for 1st quarter.
Joining the assembly was the HHS Cross Country Team, with State Qualifier Senior Cooper Wischropp. Cooper is a student helper at HES each morning, so students were super excited to celebrate him!
2nd Grade had a wonderful visit to Remington Nature Center near St. Joseph, MO. Students were able to help feed fish by cutting up worms, had a scavenger hunt through the museum, & learned about bats. Thank you PTO for a fabulous field trip!
Everest Middle School will hold its annual Veteran's Day Program on November 10th.
